With the integrated link shortener, you can transform long and complex links into shorter, more manageable links. You can also name these links individually and track how often they are clicked, which is particularly useful for social media posts. Shortening a link is quick and easy and can be done with just a few clicks.

  1. Click on the three dots at the top right of the text field and select the “Link Generator” option:

  2. In the pop-up window, add the link you want to shorten. Click on “Shorten URL” to get a shorter link.

  3. To customise the automatically generated alphanumeric URL, overwrite the characters with the desired combination of letters and numbers and click on “Assign name”.

  4. Use the “Copy Link” function to copy the shortened link to the clipboard.

  5. Insert the shortened link into your text wherever needed.

If you have the necessary permissions, you can view your link's performance at any time via the menu item “URL shortener” in the Strategy section in the left navigation bar. You can also edit the existing links by clicking on the pencil icon next to the corresponding link or archive them by clicking on the box icon.EN_03_URL-Verkürzer unter Strategie

Tags make it easier to organise and find your URLs using filters, especially when you have a lot of URLs.

To do this, select a link and click on the tag symbol in the upper window of the right-hand area. A small window will open in which you can enter your desired tag and click on “Create tag for...”. This will create a new tag and add it to the tag collection. Hover your mouse over a tag and click on the X that appears to remove the tag from the link.

If you want to remove tags from the collection, click the tag symbol again and then click the trash can symbol next to the desired tag in the pop-up window.

TIP: Use the filters and quick search at the top to find the links you want much faster. Likewise, you can use the “Show archived” switch to display archived links.
