Product Updates Q4/2026

Stay up to date on minor changes and improvements in Scompler. You can find technical documentation, integrations, and everything related to development on the Scompler platform in our Developer Hub.

October 23, 2026

On October 20, we released the new Topic Architecture (beta), a new Media Editor (beta), Memories in Scompler AI, more ways to analyze the sentiment of your community in Reports and on the Dashboard, and the Divisions feature. You can find all the details in the Feature Highlights for the October release.

Articles

badge-improvement In blog articles, you can now also add files from the Attachments tab when using the upload mode.
badge-bugfix In articles with multiple files in the Attachments tab, reordering via drag and drop could mix up the order of files that weren't loaded yet. This has been fixed.
badge-bugfix Files of articles imported from LinkedIn, or from Facebook link posts, were downloaded from the Attachments tab without a file extension. This has been fixed.

Community Management

badge-bugfix In the media preview of a message with several files, pressing Esc didn't close the preview once you had clicked a thumbnail, dragged the image or zoomed in. This has been fixed.

Content

badge-improvement New video metrics are now available as columns, e.g. watch time for YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn and Instagram Reels, video views for LinkedIn and complete video views for Facebook. Since YouTube views are no longer counted in YouTube Total and Total, these values may be lower than before.

Publishing & Social Media

badge-bugfix From October 14 to 19, no performance data was imported for Facebook posts, because Meta removed a metric. This has been fixed, and the regular import fills in the missing data. The Unique Video Views metric is no longer updated, as Meta no longer provides it.
badge-bugfix Some videos published on connected YouTube channels were not imported into Scompler. This has been fixed.
badge-bugfix In Instagram, TikTok and Threads posts, a mention with a dot in the username, such as @brand.name, was only highlighted up to the dot. This has been fixed.
badge-bugfix Some Instagram articles linked to an external post had the wrong post type, so the matching performance data wasn't imported. This has been fixed.

Scompler AI

badge-improvement If you have the Memory feature activated and tell Scompler AI that something only applies until a certain date, for example “until the end of March”, it now saves the memory with that end date and no longer uses it afterwards. In the memories overview, you see the date next to the memory.

Stories

badge-bugfix In the Info tab of a story card, the Edit Periods dialog looked empty in stories with many periods after you clicked Add Period. This has been fixed.

Team & Permissions

badge-bugfix Ideas you created via Add new > New Idea in a topic didn't inherit the topic's access setup and were visible to everyone. This has been fixed.

Topics (New Topic Architecture)

badge-improvement When you create a topic, story or article, the title is now pre-filled, for example “Article from Oct 20, 2026, 2:32 PM”. This also applies when you create stories or articles from the tabs of a topic or story card.
badge-bugfix Filters in saved views switched off when a saved value was archived, deleted or no longer available. This has been fixed.
badge-bugfix Deleting a topic in a view without counter columns could treat a topic with stories as empty and delete its stories as well. This has been fixed: before deleting, you can now choose what happens to related content.
badge-bugfix If you only entered a start or end date when creating a topic or story, the other date stayed empty instead of showing the same day. This has been fixed.
badge-bugfix Moving a story or article to another parent with drag and drop changed its access rights without warning. This has been fixed: a notice now appears, and you choose to cancel the action or update the rights.

Articles

badge-improvement If the text editor is updated while an article is open in an older browser tab, that tab now shows a message with a Reload editor button. After reloading, you can keep working as usual without disrupting others editing the article.

Marketplace

badge-improvement If your project still uses older WordPress connections, a notice now appears on the WordPress app page and when you select a site in the publishing dialog. Older connections stop working after November 9, 2026, so administrators should reconnect the affected sites in time.

Publishing & Social Media

badge-bugfix Posts from personal LinkedIn profiles couldn't be linked as external posts if you used the short link copied from LinkedIn. This has been fixed.

Scompler AI

badge-improvement The assistant's results now open automatically: when Scompler AI suggests changes, the Suggested changes panel opens once the reply is finished, and exported files and generated text versions appear straight in the preview. You no longer have to look for them in the chat, and you can add suggestions with one click on Apply to workspace.
badge-bugfix When you exported longer results to a PowerPoint file (PPTX), the text was cut off. This has been fixed.
badge-bugfix If you entered a website without "https://" (e.g. www.example.com), the assistant couldn't open it. This has been fixed.

Calendar

For user groups without access to filters, a calendar view with filters was always shown as changed and could not be reset. This has been fixed.

Community Management

In the action details, you can now choose in a dropdown whether to write a Reply or an internal Note.
In some cases, when you reopened an action, new messages were shown in the wrong order or twice. This has been fixed.
The action counter on posts only counted the actions already loaded and changed each time you loaded more. This has been fixed: while more actions can be loaded, the counter shows e.g. 30+ actions.
On posts with more than 30 actions, clicking Show more twice quickly loaded the same actions twice. This has been fixed.

Integrations

When connecting OneDrive or SharePoint, Scompler now only requests the permissions needed to pick files. This makes approval by your IT administration easier.

Project Settings

Via the Public API, you can now create and update article texts and upload PDF, CSV, and Markdown files.

Reports

Axis labels in other bar and line charts turned bold as soon as the Stories by Topic and Status widget had loaded. This has been fixed.
