In Germany, gender inclusion is already an integral part of everyday working life. Many stakeholders are requesting companies to use gender-appropriate language in their articles. In case you are also editing texts in German, feel free to try our SmartGender check, so that you can be sure that your texts address all genders. Just one click and you can check your finished text for gender-appropriate language!

To do this, click on the gender symbol at the bottom left of the article card and words that may not be gender-appropriate will immediately be highlighted:

13_1_Adventskalender_Gendern_EN

Now you can click on the individual highlighted terms and receive suggestions for improvement:

13_2_Adventskalender_Gendern_EN

Don't forget to confirm the replacement as soon as you have selected a suggestion:

13_3_Adventskalender_Gendern_EN

Of course, you can also ignore the suggestions. You can also give feedback on the suggestions by clicking on “Suggest”. Under “Tips” in the correction window, you will find further recommendations for writing gender-appropriate texts.
