Overview of Social Media Widgets in the Reports Module
The Reports module offers 3 different widget categories:
- general widgets for analyzing articles, stories, and assigned strategy parameters

Social Media widgets for analyzing your social media activities

Community widgets for analyzing your community management activities and your community’s engagement
This article provides an overview of the Social Media widgets in the Reports module. To learn how to add tabs and widgets in the Reports module, refer to this article.
Prerequisite:
You have enabled the option to import data for your social media channels.
Ensure that the features of the Reports module are available to all needed user groups. You can find the respective permissions under Project Settings > Users > Groups > Reports.
Available Social Media Widgets
The following widgets are available in the Reports module within the Social Media category:
- Channel followers total
- Channel overview
- Channel followers overview
- Channel followers over time
- Performance over time
- Stories performance overview
- Topics performance overview
- Articles performance overview (all sources)
- Posts performance overview
Widget: Channel Followers Total
The Channel followers total widget shows you the total number of followers across your connected social media channels.
Use the channel filter to select which networks and channels should be displayed in the chart.

Widget: Channel Overview
The Channel overview widget provides a table overview of the percentage and absolute growth of your connected channels over a selected time period. Growth is measured based on follower counts.
If you enter a comparison period in the filters, the table below each column additionally shows how the values have changed relative to the comparison period: green for improvements and stagnation, red for declines.
Two filters are available in the table:
- Time Period (optionally including a comparison period)
- Channel
After setting the filters, you can define how the data should be sorted: by total followers, percentage or absolute growth, and in ascending or descending order. Additionally, you can specify the calculation method: off, average, median, or sum.

Widget: Channel Followers Overview
The Channel followers overview widget provides insights on how your connected channels have grown over a selected time period, displayed as a bar chart. When you hover your cursor over a bar, a flyout opens showing the number of followers and the growth rate for the selected time period.
The chart offers two filters:
- Time Period
- Channel

Widget: Channel Followers Over Time
The Channel followers over time widget displays the trend of follower growth and decline for your channels over time in the form of a line chart. Each channel is represented by a different color on the chart. When you hover your cursor over a line, a flyout opens showing the number of followers for each channel at that specific point in time.
The chart offers two filters:
- Time Period
- Channel

Widget: Performance Over Time
The Performance over time widget provides an overview of how impressions, engagement, reach, and engagement rate have changed over a selected time period and summarizes the performance of selected topics, stories, and articles.
Each metric is represented by a corresponding color in the chart. When you hover your cursor over a line, a flyout opens with specific data for that point in time.
The following filters are available in the chart:
- Time Period
- Topic Status
- Story Status
- Channel
- Strategy Parameter
- Personas
- Teams
- Content Models
- Object Relations
- Imported Articles (include or exclude)
After setting the filters, select the topics, stories, and articles you want to include in the chart. You can select up to 50 objects.

Widget: Stories Performance Overview
The Stories performance overview widget gives you insight into the performance of your social media posts in Stories that were published during a selected time period.
The following filters are available in the table:
- Time Period (optionally including a comparison period)
- Category
- Story
- Story Status
- Topic
- Topic Status
- Strategy Parameter
- Personas
- Teams
- Content Models
- Object Relations
- Manual Data (include or exclude)
After setting the filters, you can specify how many rows the table should contain (max. 300), which metric it should be sorted by, and whether the sort order should be ascending or descending. You can also select the type of calculation row (off, average, median, sum) and choose which columns to display in the table.

Widget: Topics Performance Overview
The Topics performance overview widget gives you insight into the performance of your social media posts on specific topics that were published during a selected time period.
The following filters are available in the table:
- Time Period (optionally including a comparison period)
- Category
- Topic
- Topic Status
- Strategy Parameter
- Personas
- Teams
- Content Models
- Object Relations
- Manual Data (include or exclude)
After setting the filters, you can specify how many rows the table should contain (max. 300), which metric it should be sorted by, and whether the sort order should be ascending or descending. You can also select the type of calculation row (off, average, median, sum) and choose which columns to display in the table.

Widget: Articles Performance Overview (all Sources)
The Articles performance overview (all sources) widget gives you insight into the performance of your social media posts and other content published during a selected time period, including manual data added to the respective content, provided it uses a supported metric type.
For an overview that focuses exclusively on the performance of your social media posts, use the Posts performance overview widget.

- Time Period (optionally including a comparison period)
- Article Deadline
- Channel
- Category
- Story
- Article Status
- Topic
- Content Type
- Strategy Parameter
- Personas
- Teams
- Content Models
- Imported Articles (include or exclude)

After setting the filters, you can specify how many rows the table should contain (max. 300), which metric it should be sorted by, and whether the sort order should be ascending or descending. Widget: Posts Performance Overview
The Posts performance overview widget gives you insight into the performance of your social media posts published during a selected time period.
For an overview that considers the performance of your social media posts as well as that of other posts, use the Articles performance overview (all sources) widget.

- Time Period

- Category
- Topic
- Story
- Strategy Parameter
- Personas
- Content Models
- Imported Articles (include or exclude)
After setting the filters, you can specify how many rows the table should contain (max. 300), which metric it should be sorted by, and whether the sort order should be ascending or descending.
