Managing Apps and App Requests in the Marketplace
As an administrator, you can process app requests from project members in the Marketplace, start free app trials, optionally upgrade them, and centrally manage your installed apps.

In the Marketplace, you’ll find a wide variety of apps that are already included in your package and are therefore marked as Installed. To use these apps, you need to add the respective channels. Learn how to connect your social media channels.
Try an App - Free of Charge
You can start a 30-day trial for paid apps in the Marketplace at any time. Each app is eligible for one trial.
Note: If desired, you can skip the trial and subscribe to the app right away. Contact your Customer Success Manager for more information.
- Navigate to Marketplace in the left navigation bar.
The Marketplace opens. - Select the app you want to test.

- Click Start 30-day free trial.
A confirmation dialog opens. - Click Get your free trial.

The Apps page opens. - Under Connection Settings, fill in the fields. These vary per app.

- Click Add.
You have started the free trial of an app. A Free Trial label appears next to the app. Permissions in the Administrator group are automatically adjusted to allow use of this app. To grant this permission to other user groups, adjust the user group settings under Project Settings > Users > Groups.
You can view the remaining duration of your trial at any time by moving your cursor over the Free Trial label.
Subscribe to an App in the Marketplace
If you want to continue using an app after the 30-day trial period, you need to purchase a paid subscription. To do so, contact your Customer Success Manager or click Request a quote in the app side panel of the Marketplace.

If you no longer wish to use an app after the trial period, you don’t need to do anything. Optionally, you can open the app under Project Settings > Apps and uninstall it.
Note: Your data from the trial period will be retained and will remain available if you subscribe to the app later.
Processing App Requests From Users
When users request an app from the Marketplace, you, as the administrator, will be notified via in-app and email notifications.
Accept an App Request
- Navigate to Project Settings > Apps.
- Under Requested, navigate to the app and click Review.

- Click Add.
You have accepted the app request and started the trial. The user who submitted the request will be notified of your decision.
Reject an App Request
- Navigate to Project Settings > Apps.
- Under Requested, navigate to the app and click Dismiss.

You have rejected the app request. The user who made the request will be notified of your decision.
