Connecting a YouTube Channel to Scompler

Publish your videos directly from Scompler to your YouTube channel.

Prerequisite: You have administrator rights

  1. Navigate to Project Settings > Apps  > YouTube > Getting Started.

  2. Click Sign in with Google.

  3. Log in to YouTube with your administrator access and allow Scompler to access your channel.EN_02_Google-Anmeldemaske

    Your YouTube account should be verified with a mobile phone number and must not have violated the YouTube guidelines. 

  4. Optionally, activate the import of posts to import existing YouTube posts to Scompler.

    Do not activate the read-only mode as this will prevent posts from being published from Scompler to your YouTube channel

  5. Click Continue.

You have connected your YouTube account to Scompler. You can now plan and publish YouTube videos via Scompler.

If you have connected a YouTube channel in read-only mode and want to use the publish function, repeat the above steps for this channel and deactivate the read-only mode.
